Welcome! This is my first design for www.oswd.org! This design was inspired by PEAR. This design has been made with XHTML and CSS2. It should have a title on the top, a link bar below it, and on the left side there should be a small link sidebar and on the right there should be a sidebar. The former should have a grey background and the latter should contain only boxes. Obviously, the text you're reading is located in the middle content division. The layout is divided in two CSS files, one containing general text layout and positioning and the other containing colour schemes. Hence modifying the colours is easy. The layout looks fine with both 1024×768 and 1182×864 resolutions.
You are free to use this layout on your website/portal/whatever if you mention my name somewhere in the code/site/comments sectio. I strongly encourage you to do some tiny modifications, for example you could add borders here or there, adjust the font size or the line height...
